About Us

Fish, Explore and Adventure the U.P. with the areas most experienced and professionally trained guides. With fishing charters, guided family friendly adventures, kayak rentals, and more. We have something to do in Marquette, Michigan for any season.

MQT Adventures combines Upper Peninsula wilderness and personalized service to create a once in a lifetime experience. Large Groups, Small Parties, Families, Couples and Singles are welcome. 2-3 hour, Half day, full day, driving tours - all equipment necessary is provided. Every Trip is Customizable.

Big Game Recovery

Our Big Game Recovery service is unmatched in the Upper Peninsula. Mike and his trusty tracker Harlow have had many successful recoveries, and it’s easy to get ahold of them for your next recovery. Sometime the game is hardy enough to elude you after you’ve taken your shot. Kayak Rentals

If you’re in search of a kayak to rent in Marquette County, you’re in luck! We rent and deliver kayaks to your location or to the inland lake you plan to kayak and fish. Many of our customers love the delivery service, where we also come to pick up the kayaks when your scheduled booking is completed. 4 hr, daily, and multi day rentals available (please book 24hrs ahead of time). ->Rent A Kayak<-

FAQs

  • Yes! We take you to deep water on Lake Superior giving you the opportunity to catch lake trout, coho salmon, splake, and more.

  • Our kayaks are meant for adventuring and fishing inland lakes and rivers. Because they do not have bulkheads, they are not safe to use on the turbulent Lake Superior.

  • Out of state licenses are available for $10.00/day through the DNR or local gas stations. 17 years and up a license is required.

  • Yes we do offer Fishing Kayaks with sonar, Sit in Kayaks, and Sit on top Kayaks for Rental. You have the choice of a 3hr rental, Daily Rental, Overnight or Multinight. You also can ask for drop off at the lake or river for take in and take out service.

  • Of course! This is one of our specialties with our charters. Capt. Mike is an ace at finding the fish you’re looking to catch.

  • For the best bite, we go to Munising Bay and the adjacent areas for Whitefish, Splake, Coho Salmon, Perch, and more.

    If you’re on one of our Burbot charters, the location can vary to the Keweenaw Bay near Baraga, MI.
